We invite you to a seminar dedicated to presenting our achievements in the development of a new method of addiction psychotherapy—TRANSFIGURATIVE PSYCHOTHERAPY.
Over the years, our team has developed and tested a theoretical model that is largely based on psychoanalytic theory but goes beyond its boundaries, integrating valuable elements from other areas of psychotherapy and beyond.
The primary focus of the Transfigurative Psychotherapy method is addiction, but, as experience shows, key elements of the method are significant in the treatment of a wide range of other disorders.

Professor Oleksandr Filts – psychiatrist, psychoanalyst, group psychoanalyst, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Head of the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, Honorary Professor at Sigmund Freud University (Vienna, Austria), President of the NGO “Lviv Psychoanalytic Institute of Mental Health,” Founder of the International Association of Addiction Psychotherapy and the Transfigurative Psychotherapy Method, supervisor of the Ukrainian Psychoanalytic Society (UPS) and the European Association of Psychotherapy (EAP).
Professor Kira Sedykh – Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor, Psychotherapist, and USP Supervisor in the field of “Systemic Family Psychotherapy”
Lyudmila Hrebin – psychologist, psychotherapist (psychodynamic psychotherapy using catathymic imaginations, psychoanalysis, psychotherapy with addicts, trauma therapy, BrainSpotting), senior research fellow at the Laboratory of Counseling Psychology and Psychotherapy at the G.S. Kostiuk Institute of Psychology of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, USP supervisor, and chair of the USP section on catathymic-imaginative psychotherapy.
Serhii Kyryliuk – PhD, MD, psychiatrist, psychoanalyst, associate professor at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, Faculty of Postgraduate Education, Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University; priest and medical chaplain, head of the Synodal Department of Medical Chaplaincy of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine and the “illiotropion – Ukraine” Advisory Center; founder and CEO of MedITSERVE.
