Artificial intelligence is no longer a “novelty”—it has become part of everyday life and is rapidly making inroads into the realm of emotional support. We can integrate its strengths, name new phenomena (digital relationships, digital containment, digital transference, etc.), and expand the language of psychoanalysis—or we can pretend that nothing is happening—but not for long.

In this webinar, we will:
– outline the basic terms of digital psychoanalysis;
– examine why ChatGPT already functions as a “digital other”;
– present examples of therapeutic integration of AI—from containing anxiety to analyzing digital transference;
– open a discussion on how the professional community should conceptualize and ethically regulate these processes.

Discussion moderator – Professor Oleksandr Filts, President of the Ukrainian Psychoanalytic Society (UPS), President of the Lviv Psychoanalytic Institute of Mental Health

Lecturer – Kateryna Danilevska, relational psychotherapist, psychoanalyst of the UPA, EAP, and EAP

The seminar will include a lecture (50 min) and a discussion (40 min).
